Glenwood High School will be celebrating Wear It Purple Day this Friday the 25th of August. Let's show our support for LGBTQAI+ youth by wearing purple ribbons, jewellery, socks, beanies and other purple accessories to school on the day - it's a great way of signalling that you support a safe, inclusive and happy school environment! Blueberry bagels will be on sale for $3 at the SRC window at recess. Then join us in the quad at lunch for nail painting, hairspraying, and a dance party with music by queer artists. All funds raised go to support the Wear It Purple Foundation.
Throughout the week, you can also enter our art and colouring-in competition in the Library. Or send a message of support by adding why Wear it Purple Day is important to our affirmations box in the Library, or digitally via this Sentral link:
