Year 12 Physics Excursion

As part of their Depth Study Assessment Task of Module 5: Advanced Mechanics, students in Year 12 Physics will be required to attend a field study to Luna Park. On this day, students will be gathering video data of several rides and then analysing factors such as circular motion and mechanical energy.
Students will be travelling by train to Luna Park from Bella Vista metro station. They are to meet at 8:30am. Students must ensure they have a valid Opal card.
Students will be dismissed at 1:30pm, where they have the option of immediately returning to Glenwood via train or to remain at Luna Park and make their way home themselves.
Students are encouraged to bring a packed lunch and sufficient water on the day, however, there are options to purchase food and drink whilst there.
Attendance to this excursion is necessary to meet course requirements.
