Dear parent/carer,

An excursion has been organised to support the following work being completed at school:

A White Card is a legally required license which will be used for students who are exploring construction or trades as a potential career path. This allows students to work on a work site and complete work experience in trades, safely.

From the 1st January 2015, all students doing nationally recognised training need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). A USI is a reference number made up of numbers and letters. Creating a USI is free. It creates a secure online record of your nationally recognised training that you can access anytime and anywhere, and it’s yours for life. All students need a USI before commencement of the course. Go to www.usi.gov.au to create your USI and write your USI on your permission slip below.

Please note that there may be a maximum number of students who may attend this event (see above).  The signed permission note must be returned to the front office with the correct money.  We are unable to provide students with change.  We strongly encourage your child to attend this activity, as it will be a positive and valuable learning experience.
