Harmony Day

Please monitor facebook and Instagram on the lead up to Harmony Day for further information on events food trucks etc

On Friday 20th March, 2020, Glenwood High School will be celebrating Harmony Day. The day will be an exciting and enjoyable opportunity to enrich our community by celebrating the wonderful diversity of students and families at the school.

A number of activities have been organised for the day which will help educate students about the different cultures in our school, as well as create a fun, harmonious and enjoyable day for all.

This year, we have organised a Multicultural Food Fair, featuring a variety of food trucks.  The Multicultural Food Fair will take place during an extended lunch time.  Featured menu items prices will range from $4.00 to $10.00.

Students are encouraged to wear orange or their national dress on the day.  A gold coin donation is required. All money raised on the day will support harmony and diversity initiatives throughout the year.

Students must be dressed appropriately for school. Please note:

Enclosed footwear must be worn. NO thongs or sandals.

Singlets, midriff tops, tops with offensive or inappropriate language, short shorts and miniskirts are NOT acceptable.

If students wear unacceptable clothing, parents will be called to bring a suitable change of clothing to school to be changed into. Otherwise, inappropriately attired students will be required to change into spare uniform from the clothing pool.
